Ideas for new stages?

Hey everyone, just wondering what your ideas were for some possible new stages...While the stages we have now are pretty cool, I can't help wanting even more! Here are some of my ideas...

-Mario Galaxy Themed world with crazy gravity, small planets, and black holes(yeah, it would be crazy, but cool)
-Side Scrolling world from Mario 3 or Super Mario World (they don't seem to get enough recognition...)
-Metroid Stage from someplace else besides Zebes! (3 is enough...so many other cool places...)
-the top of the Forsaken Fortress from Wind Waker, with occassional attacks from that giant bird, or maybe          canons...
-Side Scrolling Green Hill Zone from the Original Sonic (with occassional attacks from Dr. Robotnik)
-Battle arena from the Fire Temple of OOT, with attacks from Volvagia and lava balls

These are just a few, I'm sure I'll think of more. What does everyone else think?

we all think that sonic stage has to be side scroling but thats not true because there has been many games since the side scroling era like form sonic adventure like the master emeralds temple,and the casino stage or that stage where that giant whale would appear(he could cause tidal waves)i think it was the first stage.we cant forget that there are many new sonic games out there.

in almost every sonic game their is always a casino themed area ... i wonder...

Casino or carnival themed... I think it would be fun to have a Sonic Stage with all kinds of bumbers and pinballesque stuff. Just imagine the bouncy mayhem!

I always thought that a good Metroid Level would be the Pirate research facility located in the Phendrana Drifts of Prime I. You would start in the room that you gain the Thermal Visor for a room similar to the starting of the Shadow Moses stage, but after a while a Sheegoth would rampage throught the bottom floor of the complex opening up the outside area to the players. The right side of the stage would be a frozen area with a cave and some sleeping baby sheegoths. This would be kinda like a frozen Hyrule temple area. The left side would be a cliff with metal beams sticking out of the side. One of the beams would have a chain with a platform hanging from it that would sway in the wind. There would also be tword the bottom, a spire of ice you can land on to hopefully save your life. And at the bottom of the cliff there is a little alcove carved from the ice.

So what do you guys think?

If Megaman is in, then it would be cool if there was a stage like the next to the last level (somewhere around that area) where Megaman in the games goes through portals and has to defeat the previous bosses.  But instead of going to bosses (although that COULD work, going to Meagaman boss arenas) you would go to a random stage for a limited amount of time (10+ seconds?).  And it could  be a scrolling stage I suppose.
If there is a Sonic stage, then I nominate the casino side scrolling idea.

Something I thought of last night was the temple of the ocean king from phantom hourglass. You would have to fight in the safe zones so the temple does not suck your life away. And there will occoasionally be a phantom.

I don't know why but I'd really love to have the throne room of Legend of Zelda to be in it or the warping areas for the Zant battle. That would be really cool!

i think that a paper  mario stage wod be cool, and every now and then itll tun 3d and players could walk down the stage going up(hard to understand if you didnt play super paper mario)

I'm praying for an old-school carnival-pinball-casino Sonic level.  Any Sonic level they throw at us had better be old-school.  I want to see the Sonic Empire as it was during it's peak, not when the barbarian hordes of unnecessary characters invaded and ransacked the speed-based gameplay we all loved.  But enough extended metaphors.
Sadly, Sonic's intro video was to the tune of that infamous pop-rock.  So I fear we may be reminded of Sonic's grim fate in SSBB.  It causes me pain to imagine a stage based off of a level from Shadow the Hedgehog, or the most recent game titled "Sonic the Hedgehog."
If we're lucky, however, the stages will be based entirely off of the Genesis era and that glimmer of hope named Sonic and the Secret Rings.

Maybe the observatory in Galaxy. Their has to be a Galaxy inspired level. Maybe one where there's little planets and you can run around them and jump from one to the other cuz of gravity.  And a twilight princess lake hylia stage. Or maybe the ordon ranch. Where you round up the Rams. And Epona can be running around.

Lake Hylia would be fun to play in, especially the dwelling of Lanayru. I just found that place filled with secrets to get rupees. HAHA. Lanayru must be rich!
